Short Term Volunteer Opportunities
Holiday Giving with Project GRACE It\\\'s a treasured holiday tradition among many families to reach out to neighbors who are having a tough time. This holiday season there are several ways to help in partnership with Project GRACE: build a Thanksgiving food basket for a family, help us stock the pantry with essentials, fulfill a Christmas wish by giving presents to children and families, sponsor a giving tree, or give to the fuel fund to keep a neighbor\\\'s home warm this Winter. For more info, contact 883-5111 or email@example.com. Soaps, Shampoos, Skincare Items Needed Project GRACE partners with the schools to help students, whose families are struggling to cover basic bills, with non-academic needs (clothing and shoes, personal hygiene products, etc.). Several of the schools are in need of travel or sample sized personal care products (shampoos, soaps, toothpaste and tooth brushes, deodorants, chapsticks, and moisturizers, etc.). If you would like to sponsor a collection, please contact 883-5111 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Love the Holidays? We do, too! Project GRACE is looking for crafty people to help us with Holiday Giving Trees! Interested? Contact 883-5111 or email@example.com. Help for Families Affected by Motel Fire We are concerned about the families that lost their homes and belongings in the recent fire at the Itsa Good Motel. Thankfully, no one was hurt, but there was heavy property damage. A family with small children lost everything. The Red Cross (874-1192 x116) is looking after the immediate needs of the families. As we learn of specific needs, we will post them to FaceBook or here. In the meantime, if you would like to help Project G.R.A.C.E. help your neighbors in the weeks ahead, please go to our How to Help - Donate section to give to our Neighbors Helping Neighbors Fund.
Call our office at 883-5111 to discuss other ways to become involved.
