Chearleading teams, coaches and fans pulled together for a day of giving back to the community, and the Scarborough High School Cheerleading Club raised $450 for the fuel assistance fund.

The Thanksgiving and Christmas \\\'Adopt-a-Family\\\' programs distributed food and presents for more than ninety local families as well as individuals at CASA, Edgewood, the Morrison Center, Family Crisis Shelter, Pine Point Nursing Home, Preble Street\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s Teen Center, and Longcreek Youth Development Center.

» SOAP & SHAMPOO (Suave brand) - We're collecting soap and shampoo (any size) for the Long Creek Youth Development Center. They want only SUAVE brand products.
» HATS & MITTENS - Mittens, gloves, scarves, and hats for children, teens, and adults are needed to keep families warm.
» CHAPSTICK - Winter winds and snowy days are coming... PG kids need chapstick!
» WEATHERIZATION KITS - Maine has some of the oldest (and draftiest) housing stock in the nation. Weatherization kits, or gift certificates to local hardware stores, can help families keep more heat in, more cold air out.
» GIFT CARDS (any amount) - Gift cards and gift certificates to supermarkets and shops (Hannaford's, Shaw's, Walmart, Target, Old Navy, Sears, Goodwill, etc.) as well as for gas, books and music, restaurants, hardware stores, salons and barbers, ...
» FARM SHARES - Buying a farm share? Consider getting another one for a Project G.R.A.C.E. family or partner organization. Let's all eat healthy and support our local farms!
» OFFICE SUPPLIES - Project G.R.A.C.E. could use modest gift certificates to Staples so we can restock our office supplies (paper, pens, toner).
